Committee 2024

The OutPlay Squash committee run the club on behalf of the members and are selected by the membership each year at the AGM.

The current committee comprises four members who were voted in at the 2024 AGM in February.  The committee all volunteer their time for free and meet monthly to ensure everything is running smoothly.

The Committee are responsible for all the administrative functions of the club from booking courts and paying bills, to organising our club tournaments.

In addition to the four voted administrative roles, this year we have a co-opted Social Activities Team who will be responsible for organising and running social events throughout the year.

President Damien Downes The president oversees all things OutPlay. This is a voted role.
Secretary Rob Tointon The secretary takes minutes at all of the meetings. This is a voted role.
Treasurer Phil Platts The treasurer looks after all the money! They also book up all the courts and let the rest of the committee know what the balance sheets are looking like. This is a voted role.
Membership & Communications Dave Crewe Responsible for membership, communications, anything technical, and running club coaching. This is a voted role.
Social Activities Team Rob Garafola, Adam Jellet, Luke Parkes Responsible for running all the non-squash social activities of the club. These are co-opted roles.
